Evernote Connector
The ShareBuilder Assistant is expanding its note-taking and knowledge workflow ecosystem with a Connector that brings Evernote directly into the Assistant Skills platform. With the Evernote Connector, media teams can connect notes, research, meeting takeaways, account observations, planning details, and follow-up ideas to the workflows that help teams act on what they capture.
About Evernote
Evernote is a note-taking and organization platform used to capture ideas, meeting notes, research, checklists, reference material, and supporting information. Teams and individuals use Evernote to keep working knowledge organized across notebooks, notes, tags, and shared content.
For media organizations, useful notes can show up throughout the sales and service process: pre-call research, customer context, meeting takeaways, campaign ideas, renewal notes, competitive observations, proposal reminders, and internal planning details. Those notes are valuable, but they can lose impact if they stay disconnected from the systems where work actually happens.
This is the Evernote Connector
The Evernote Connector brings note-driven workflows directly into Assistant Skills so captured information can become part of a larger automated process.
Instead of treating notes as passive reference material, Skills can use Evernote content as a signal, input, or follow-up source for the next step in a workflow.
Turn notes into action
Notes often capture the moment when someone realizes what should happen next. A seller records a client concern. A manager captures a coaching point. A team member adds campaign ideas. A renewal note identifies a risk. A research note reveals a prospect opportunity.
With Evernote connected, those notes can help guide Assistant Skills. The Assistant can create tasks, send reminders, route follow-up, notify the right person, or combine note content with context from connected systems.
Support meeting and account follow-up
Sales and customer conversations often produce useful notes that need to turn into follow-up. The Evernote Connector can help bridge the gap between what was captured and what needs to happen next.
This can support workflows like:
- creating follow-up tasks from meeting notes
- routing account observations to a seller or manager
- capturing renewal risks and launching next-step reminders
- turning campaign ideas into planning tasks
- organizing research notes around prospects or accounts
- notifying teams when important shared notes are updated
Connect captured knowledge to business context
A note becomes more useful when it connects to the surrounding business context. A note about a prospect, campaign, pricing concern, or client request may need to be understood alongside CRM activity, opportunity stage, calendar history, email conversations, spreadsheets, or other connected information.
With Evernote connected to Assistant Skills, a workflow can use note content together with those other systems. The Assistant can help determine why the note matters, who needs to act, and what the next step should be.
For example, a Skill could use a new renewal-risk note, check account context, notify the account owner, create a follow-up task, and schedule a reminder before the next client conversation.
Keep personal notes from becoming isolated
Notes are often useful because they are flexible and personal. But that flexibility can also make them easy to isolate from team workflows. Important details may sit in a notebook while the actual follow-up happens somewhere else.
The Evernote Connector helps Assistant Skills make those notes more operational. When note content should trigger action, the Assistant can help move it into the right workflow without requiring someone to manually re-enter the same information.
Use notes as a lightweight workflow front end
Not every workflow starts in a form, spreadsheet, or CRM screen. Sometimes the fastest way to capture the right information is a note. The Evernote Connector can make that lightweight capture useful inside a structured process.
This is a strong fit for workflows such as:
- meeting-note follow-up
- prospect and customer research
- campaign planning ideas
- sales coaching notes
- renewal and retention observations
- internal checklists and reminders
- shared team knowledge capture
Instead of notes living off to the side, Evernote can become one of the places where a Skill listens for useful context and helps the team act on it.
Assistant Skills
Skills are the workflows you train the ShareBuilder Assistant to run for your team. Create a Skill and the Assistant executes playbooks, coordinates processes, updates systems, and communicates across platforms automatically.
Availability
The Evernote Connector is available for Assistant Skills workflows that need note-taking, knowledge capture, research organization, and note-based follow-up automation. Availability may depend on the customer’s enabled Skills environment, permissions, and Evernote account connection.
